Each spring and fall, Boston’s most prestigious wedding and event planners join together at the Marketing to the High-End Bride event to discuss business goals, explore the latest trends, share insights, network, and socialize in Boston’s most luxurious venues.
In it’s tenth year, this October marked the 20th event and celebrated “How to Make a Statement! Looking back at 10 years of Boston Weddings” and featured a panel of experts including Boston’s most innovative and trendsetting planners and designers.
Typically a breakfast program, LONGWOOD turned the highly anticipated marquee event on its head by hosting the first-ever evening program at its glamorous flagship venue, the State Room. The gorgeously decorated setting was buzzing with 250 industry professionals, and many more on a waiting list. While enjoying exceptional food, great wine, and spirited conversation, guests were also treated to breathtaking night-time views of the harbor and city below.

Operations and the Serving Staff!
Perhaps no secret to our clients, the most talked about aspect of the evening beyond the food, venue and décor – from both the attending guests and LONGWOOD team alike- was the silent and professional precision the Staff executed during the synchronized meal service.
It was a thing of beauty to watch the team gracefully navigate the floor with open faces, and follow the directional glances from Nivea to gently place Chef’s well thought-out entrée like the gift it was intended to be. Wow!
Marketing to the High-End Bride is an event produced by Arlene Cronk, founder and board member of the Boston Wedding Group as well as owner of Invitations & Company, a social stationery boutique in Boston’s Beacon Hill neighborhood since 1991.
Following the event, the State Room donated 100lbs of food to the Boston Rescue Mission in support of the Feeding Our Neighbors program to help feed close to 150 people in need.The donation is part of the LONGWOOD Giving campaign, a unique concept offering our expertise in event planning to help non-profits maximize the impact of their missions.
