Jessica and Andrew wanted the glamour of a classic Newport wedding, but at a venue that was enough of a blank canvas to allow for their individual story to be told: edgy, modern elements paired with timeless touches. Newport Beach House was just the one, simple and elegant, dramatic in its views of the Atlantic Ocean just outside, and a space that could embody personal flourishes on full display such as the unique yet romantic florals, including Pieris flowers, anemones, and towering cherry blossom centerpieces.

The Big Little Things

Incorporated Traditions

The ceremony itself was kept traditional with details like the signing of the ketubah (an ornate marriage contract that is often written in Aramaic) and hanging a chuppah (a canopy that symbolizes the couple’s future home together). The chuppah was set up in a way that felt organic to the space, with the canopy itself made of simple white cloth and traditional blue accents. The posts holding the canopy aloft were adorned with sheer white fabric and flowers that caught the light coming in from the wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, framing the couple in a halo of soft white light.

Under One Roof

The moments spent with family and friends after saying your “I Do’s” are some of the purest in this life. Jessica and Andrew made the most of every single one and avoided any travel time between ceremony and reception by hosting both parts of their day at Newport Beach House. The ceremony was held in the Surfside room with the floor to ceiling windows and ocean view acting as the backdrop. Just steps away, rather up, from Surfside, guests were then welcomed to the Eventide reception, where glass doors opened to the sprawling Deck offering beach access and unmatchable views of Easton’s Beach.
